Documentaries to Transform Our World

Join us for this Docu Café session, where we explore documentary filmmaking as a catalyst for personal and collective transformation. Together, we’ll look at how documentaries shape awareness, deepen empathy, and subtly influence the way we perceive the world. Through open conversation and real-world examples, we’ll reflect on the role of the documentary filmmaker today—and how thoughtful, conscious storytelling can contribute to meaningful change.

The session will be led by Stuart J. Tanner (BBC, Nat Geo, Amnesty International Award) and Amine Kouider (David Lynch Foundation, Playing for Change), program directors of MIU’s MFA in Documentary Filmmaking.
